University of Illinois – Willard Airport provides full facilities for general aviation flights. Multiple runways and instrument approaches provide a safe destination for all general aviation aircraft, from lightplanes to corporate jets. Flightstar, a full-service FBO provides refueling and maintenance services.
University of Illinois – Willard Airport provides T-hangars for general aviation aircraft. The newest T-hangars were built in 2008 to accommodate general aviation aircraft operators. Willard has a total of 42 hangars in various sizes available to store private aircraft.
University of Illinois – Willard Airport provides aviation education opportunities in partnership with Parkland College’s Institute of Aviation. The original Institute of Aviation at the University of Illinois was established in 1946 and Parkland College took over the program in 2014.
