1.  How do I get enrolled?

Our previous Enrollment Center at Willard Airport was a great success.  We are planning on hosting another event this Fall. We’ll make sure the word get’s out to everyone as soon as the new temporary center is scheduled.

2. What exactly is the Pre-enrollment process?

The Pre-enrollment process takes you to the TSA consultant’s webpage and gathers all the information you need prior to your appointment.  This is also the time when you will make your appointment and ensure your spot.

3. How do I make sure my Appointment is at Willard Airport?  I don’t want to have to go somewhere else.

Fill out steps 1 through 7 in the enrollment webpages. Once you arrive at step 8, type in your location “Savoy, IL” and then be sure to choose “Willard Airport.” Next, at the bottom of the screen is Step 9 where you can select an appointment time (the first available shows, but you can use the drop down to choose a different date and/or time). 

4. How long before I have the TSA Pre✓® status? Is it immediate?

This event is the enrollment and application process.  This is where TSA verifies your identity and collects your fingerprints.  If everything clears as expected you will receive your Known Traveler Number (KTN) within 4 weeks.  From then on, anytime you book a flight, just provide the KTN to the airline and you are in Pre Check.

5.  How much does this cost?

The application process is completed on site where they take fingerprints for a background check and collect the $85 application fee for five years of service.  The fee can be paid by credit card, money order, company check, or certified/cashier’s check.  Cash and personal checks are not accepted.

6. Can I just walk-in for an appointment during the two-week event?

Walk-ins will be served on a first come, first serve basis as appointments are available.  It is best to pre-enroll and get your appointment scheduled, but if you just couldn’t for some reason, please come on down and see if they have a spot for you.

7.  What about parking?  Do I have to pay for parking, too?

Parking for this event will be validated by the Airport.  If you are already in the airport for traveling, we will give you a one-day discount for getting registered.

8.  What if I’m late?  Do I miss my appointment?

If you are late, we will do our best to get you in as soon as possible, but we may need to reschedule you for a different day if we are all booked up on the day of your original appointment.
