Construction is underway on a $200,000 project to make renting a car at Willard Airport much easier. The new rental car center, on the south side of the terminal, will include new counters for all current rental car companies: Enterprise, Alamo, National, Avis and Budget. The counters will include improvements for Americans with Disabilities.
The project is funded by concession fees, paid by the rental car companies.
It follows the completion of the $2.3 million rental car service facility at Willard Airport. The “quick turnaround” facility was designed to expedite cleaning and maintenance processes, allowing for a faster turnaround time for the vehicles. It is in service today.
